At Ice Hero, our story begins with Monica and Kerry - Alberta ranchers who know firsthand the challenges of harsh winters and frozen pipes. Living and working on their ranch, Monica and Kerry faced winter disruptions caused by frozen water lines, and with Kerry often working away, Monica needed to get the water flowing so she could get the kids to school and herself to work, while they were building their ranch. Determined to find a solution that would work for her, she and Kerry combined hands-on experience with innovative thinking to create the Ice Hero—a fast, safe and reliable tool built to withstand the toughest conditions. Through Monica’s connection to the land and her community, she soon realized that providing this practical, easy-to-use, safe and speedy emergency solution would help ranchers, plumbers, and home owners keep their operations running smoothly with minimal disruption and stress.
